Christmastime is here...

Christmas time is here
Happiness and cheer
Fun for all that children call
Their favorite time of the year

Snowflakes in the air
Carols everywhere
Olden times and ancient rhymes
Of love and dreams to share

Sleigh bells in the air
Beauty everywhere
Yuletide by the fireside
And joyful memories there

Christmas time is here
We'll be drawing near
Oh, that we could always see
Such spirit through the year
Oh, that we could always see

I just love this song from "A Charlie Brown Christmas", don't you?
I just love Charlie Brown...period.

And speaking of Christmas "time"...
...if you've seen my blog, you might know that I have a thing for clocks.
So what do you do when you have more than a few?

You decorate around them!

Ah, yes...Christmastime...the most wonderful time of the year.

It is Christmas every time you let God love others through you...
yes, it is Christmas every time you smile at your brother and offer him your hand.

~Mother Teresa

  7. Hi Debby! Oh my, I don't think I've ever seen so many different and beautiful clocks. How long did it take you to collect them all? I wonder if some of them have been in your family for a long time.
I got a peek of your Christmas tree too!

    Blessings on this Tuesday :)

    1. Ceil...you may get a chuckle out of this...the only ones that have any sentimental value are the old pocket watch which is a family heirloom from my husband's side and the domed anniversary clock. Although it isn't that old, we gave it to my parents many years ago for Christmas and have it back now that they are both gone. The others are Goodwill or discount store finds. I have another anniversary clock that I was just reminded of that I failed to photograph! My hubs gave that one to me on our first Christmas. Now how did I forget to put that in this post? I may have edit it :)

  8. Hello Debby, I love the idea of time because one day we will not have to worry about time in Heaven the way we look at it here on earth. Everlasting is a long tome LOL
Merry Christmas and so glad to have you as a sister in Christ!
