Remember the old days when we used to send cards through the mail?
This is my first link up to Vee's Note Card Party and I'm SO excited!
Right away, I thought of making a "box" of cards for every season.
I didn't realize how many photos I had taken throughout the years...
...it was not an easy task to decide which ones to pick!
Winter...
spring...
summer...
or fall...
...all you gotta do is call...and I WILL be there.
Yep...you know the rest.
'Cause you got a friend :)
Hi Debby! I am here via Mr. Linky. I went ahead and got you linked so others could visit! These cards are beautiful and with the seasonal flavor a perfect set. Thank you or joining us!
ReplyDeleteThank you, Vee! And thank you for hosting these great parties! Where do I go to see other's posts? When I go to your blog, I don't to see a link where others have joined in. What am I doing wrong?
DeleteThe best tip I can give you is to follow those who have commented. You'll probably find everyone that way!
Deletefor that is...
ReplyDeleteWonderful notecards. What a gorgeous set they make, complete with a creative box cover! Nice to have you join in.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Podso...this is fun :)
DeleteI'm so glad I've got a friend like you!!!!....:) Love, love love your cards!!! Great idea!
ReplyDeleteAwww...thanks, sweet Lisa...me too!
DeleteI love the idea of a card for each season. And your photos are amazing....perfect for note cards! Enjoy your week! I'm glad to have you for a friend, too!
ReplyDeleteThank you! After I went with the James Taylor thing, I thought maybe a Frankie Valley and the Four Seasons song might have been more appropriate...lol :) Have a great finish to your week!
DeleteOh my goodness, Debby - these are so beautiful. Seriously, have you considered truly making these into note cards and selling them? I know I would buy a set.
ReplyDeleteAnd yep, it's good to have a friend...winter, spring, summer, or fall.
GOD BLESS!
Sharon, you are just so sweet! Thanks for the kind words...I doubt if I would sell very many. If you are serious, I will gladly make you up some and mail them to you...as a gift :)
DeleteWhat beautiful photos. sigh. Love the Four Seasons (Vivaldi's and yours!) And the reference to James Taylor.
ReplyDeleteThank you. Ah, yes...James Taylor...he was my favorite singer back in the day :)

DeleteHello Debby
ReplyDeleteI love your set of note cards - one for each of the Lord's seasons!
The first one with the snow weighing down the pine needles is lovely - where I live it doesn't snow in winter - sadly!
In other parts of New Zealand it does though.
Wishing you a happy thanksgiving in your neck of the woods!
Shane
Hello! Thank you for stopping by my blog. I live in NC and we don't get a lot of snow either. The picture you are referring to was taken at our cabin in VA. Quite a bit of snow falls up there most winters...and a happy Thanksgiving to you as well!
DeleteWhat a wonderful set of cards. I still send some from time to time. There's a special pleasure in receiving a card or letter in the mail.
ReplyDeleteThank you, Susan...receiving a card in the mail is something that brings me joy.

ReplyDeleteHey Cheryl...thanks for stopping by and your sweet comment! I love the card party and think I just may be a regular from now on...so much fun sharing our photos with each other. I just edited my "box top"...thought it got lost in my post next to the frames around the cards. Check out my changes if you like :)
DeleteI love it! These are a perfect set.
ReplyDeleteThank you, Terri!
DeleteI love the song and I'll be humming it the rest of the night! And that's okay, 'cause I'll be up awhile yet. Love your beautiful cards and the box cover!
ReplyDeleteThank you, Cheryl! There's nothing like getting a song stuck in your head and not beingable to get it out, is there? At least it was "You Got A Friend"....that's a pretty good one to be stuck :)
